boss

How in the world did the world become some insane place where people work for other people? The workers generally don't benefit much, and the folks that they work for benefit enormously. The 'bosses' generally don't do squat. This isn't right. The world just isn't right. I can't stand it here. I'm moving away.

Oh, darn, where can I go? Well, I guess we're stuck here for now. Let's figure out how to change things. I know, everyone get a blog and complain endlessly. That'll accomplish a lot, won't it? No, but I'm open to suggestions.

Peace, out, baby.

mush

If you're involved in the silliness of the computer world, you are probably aware that Apple (maker of the Macintosh) is switching to Intel processors. What does this mean? Beans. Nothing, really. Probably just more money for them. With this processor change, comes a style change as well. I know a few people (some who use Macs, some who don't) who think the iMac line looks really cheap and junky. Scrunch your face up and say (with some "eeeaahhh" tonality to your voice) "It's plastic-y". Despite the fact that Apple regularly wins design awards, and generally uses top-quality components in their computers.

I guess they heard your pleas, and now it looks like they're going to make their computers more in the style of other Intel boxes, loaded with quality. And, months in advance, I have acquired photos of the next-gen Mac-just for you.

Drum Roll... and here it is, the Mac XI desktop:

Screams Quality, doesn't it? Wood and stone-gad. At least there's a place to set drinks.

And the view of what you'll most likely be looking at all day long. They'll sell a million of 'em.

OK, so I'm a Mac user at home. Windows sux, though I do have to use it at times. Maybe Apple will continue to 'Windows-up' the OS too. I can't wait. Just wait 'til you see the new iPods!
